Come join us for the 3rd Annual Westland Wild Dash 5k!  The Wild Dash is a 5k run/walk sponsored by the Westland Middle School PTA.  Funds raised from this event will underwrite the school's cultural arts program, buildings and grounds enhancements, iimprovements to the athletic facilities, as well as instructional support for the teaching staff.  These much needed items are not included in the school's MCPS budget and are funded solely through the efforts of the PTA.

Start and finish line at Westland Middle School, entrance on Massachusetts Avenue, just a little west of Falls Parkway.  Ceritifed 5k course winds through the lovely neighborhoods of Wood Acres, Springfield, and Westwood.  Timing by Montgomery County Road Runners.  USTAF rules prohibit wheels (baby strollers, baby joggers, bikes, roller blades, etc.), pets, and headphones on the course.  See the map here.

$20 for adults, $10 for kids 18 and under, through April 17th;
$25 for adults, $15 for kids 18 and under, from April 18th through Race Day.
